We have a new freelance opportunity to support a German SAP Consultancy for an SAP SAC / Datasphere Consultant to join a greenfield customer project in Germany.
Role: SAP SAC / Datasphere Consultant
Project Duration: Initial 12 Months (Extension possible)
Location: Remote with occasional on-site near Dusseldorf, Germany
Start Date: ASAP
Language: English required (German a plus)
Workload: Minimum 2 days a week required (Ideally more)
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting and/or planning scenarios.
• Build and optimize data models and data flows within SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources using SAP BTP / Integration tools where required.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable reporting and planning solutions.
• Support end-to-end delivery including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure best practices in performance optimization, data modelling, and governance.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Analytics / BI, with strong expertise in SAC and/or Datasphere.
• Hands-on experience with data modelling, reporting, and dashboard development in SAC.
• Experience working with SAP Datasphere / BW/4HANA / SAP BW environments.
• Understanding of SAP data integration and architecture (BTP, CPI, etc.).
• Experience working in client-facing environments and collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
