Workload: 80 – 100%
Location: Primarily remote (up to 30% onsite in NRW or Munich)
Project Overview:
As part of a large-scale finance transformation program, this project focuses on implementing a future-ready operating model within the finance function. The initiative aims to optimize planning and steering capabilities by enhancing processes, systems, and structures in response to a fast-changing market environment.
The core objective is to improve decision-making quality and business performance through advanced forecasting, performance management, digital tooling, and data modeling.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational consulting to the project team for the successful delivery of key transformation initiatives
Support the translation of high-level goals into actionable measures and ensure close alignment between project streams and stakeholders
Identify levers to enhance impact and support governance-related preparation and coordination
Collaboratively manage project planning, structure, and control alongside the program co-lead
Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across strategic, technical, and organizational lines
Develop frameworks and materials for progress tracking, risk and resource management within a project PMO setup
Prepare and support key governance meetings (e.g., Steering Committee, Stream Lead reviews)
Design and implement change initiatives, processes, and procedures to support sustainable transformation
Advise on stakeholder management strategies to ensure transparency, clarity, and effective decision-making
Candidate Profile:
5+ years of experience managing complex transformation or ERP projects, ideally within finance functions
Deep understanding of controlling, forecasting, and performance management processes
Strong command of both agile and traditional project management methodologies
Proven track record working with senior stakeholders in corporate environments
Analytical thinker with structured working style and strong execution capabilities
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
Commercial mindset with a high degree of goal- and results-orientation
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
