Beschreibung

For our client, a German Tier1/Tier2 carrier we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer (Service Provider).

The project scope is about a migration of business customers from an old network infrastructure to a new network. There will be a lot of maintenance windows at night during the migration phase.

Start is planned in Februar/March 2026:
Professional Focus
  1. In-depth expertise in Cisco networks (IOS, IOS-XR)
  2. Experience with Service Provider technologies:
  3. MPLS, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF
  4. Layer-3 VPN, EVPN (Layer-2), QoS
  5. Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network infrastructures
  6. Knowledge of Juniper environments (e.g., JNCIP certification)
  7. Basic knowledge in scripting & automation (e.g. Ansible, Python, etc.)
Scope of work
  1. Project support in the Carrier/Service Provider sector
  2. Operation, design, and migration of IP/MPLS networks
