Beschreibung
The project is an exciting and complex software implementation project for an international enterprise in the energy sector (Turbines and other power plant equipment). The goal of the project is to build a supplier portal for logistical processes in the area of traceability, procurement and logistics. SAP Arriba knowledge is a plus but not required. The technical backbone is a SAP HANA system combined with SAP Fiori UI technology.
Your role will have a focus on Stakeholder Management and Requirements Engineering.
You will work closely with a very experienced Principal Business Analyst / Requirements analyst that supports this project already. However: In alignment with him you will manage a part of the business stakeholders / project scope / implementation team by yourself. We will help you with the ramp-up and coach you throughout the project.
Project Duration: 8 month (Starting in 4 weeks) - extension highly likely
Project Location: remote (occasional workshops in Berlin or Erlangen possible)
Project Setup: Agile software development with international stakeholders and implementation team (including USA, Germany, Poland, Thailand, India)
Technical Aspects: Backend Development mostly in SAP (MM / Logistics / Serialization / Handling Unit Management) Frontend mostly in SAP UI5/Fiori, Multiple Databases and legacy systems, AWS Cloud environment.
Your main task will be to understand the business requirements (from various stakeholders), structure and document them (e.g. in Confluence and JIRA) provide process guidance and help the development team during the process (grooming, sprint planning, test support)
This includes understanding of the SAP backend implementation in the procurement and logistics modules. (MM, LE and partially PLM and Document Management)
As this will involve multiple departments and teams, good communication skills are key.
You will work closely with a strong technical team of SAP Fiori Developers and SAP Developers.
A good technical background is highly preferred. (e.g. degree in computer science or past development experience) You will spend most of your time aligning the requirements with the distributed development team. The better you understand what they are doing the better.
Important note: Skills and experience is not everything to us. It is equally important that you are enthusiastic about work (if the project is interesting) and are fun to work with. :-)
We strongly prefer candidates in the European time zone as you need to align as well with the United States, Europe and India. Your closest counterparts
are located in Germany and Poland and there will be occasional on-site workshops.
