Description
We are currently looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Start: Immediately | Duration: 6month Location: Munich (1–2 days remote possible after onboarding) | Language: English
Your Tasks:
• Develop low-level embedded software (drivers, communication stacks, crypto modules, flash bootloaders)
• Perform hardware bring-up, validation, and architectural design work
• Conduct code reviews with a focus on low-level implementation, security, and clean code
• Develop and integrate automotive diagnostic functionalities
• Integrate software modules with real-time capabilities and efficient resource management
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO 21434
• Integrate into CI/CD environments
Your Profile:
• Degree in engineering, mathematics, or physics
• Proven experience in complex low-level software projects and architecture
• Practical expertise in C++ (11+), STL, unit testing, and AUTOSAR configuration tools
• Extensive experience with flash bootloaders, board bring-up, and assembly
• Strong knowledge of security concepts, cryptography, and electronic debugging (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
• Experience with automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, ISO 21434)
• Familiarity with communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, ISOSPI, Ethernet, J1939, ODX)
• Knowledge of microcontrollers (AURIX TriCore, TI Hercules, NXP S32) is an advantage
