We are currently looking for an experienced Accountant and Controller to manage the
bookkeeping and reporting for our portfolio companies. In this role, you will be responsible
for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing detailed reports, processing payments,
supporting tax declarations (in particular value-added tax intra year) and ensuring

Responsibilities:
Manage accounting for multiple international entities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including AP/AR, bank
reconciliation, invoice processing, payments and general ledger entries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management
accounts.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams, tax advisors, auditors and external partners to
streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Monitor and improve internal financial processes and controls.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience (3-6 years) in accounting and/or controlling, preferably in an
entrepreneurial holding, family office, Venture Capital or Private Equity fund or
multi-entity environment (e.g. corporate with subsidiaries or scale up).
Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS and/or German GAAP) and
financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a remote, entrepreneurial
environment.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Relevant certification (e.g. German apprenticeship in bookkeeping) or degree in
accounting, finance or a related field is preferred (Bachelor/Master).
Languages: English is a must, German a plus.
