SAP IS-Retail Consultant (German Speaking) – Full-Time
Location: Germany (Hybrid / Remote options available)

BMIE Recruitment is partnering with a leading SAP consultancy to recruit an experienced SAP IS-Retail Consultant for a permanent position supporting enterprise retail clients across Germany and the wider DACH region.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing consultancy delivering large-scale SAP transformation programmes for some of the region's most recognised retailers.
The Role
As an SAP IS-Retail Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end SAP Retail implementations, working closely with clients to analyse business requirements, configure SAP solutions, and support successful project delivery.
You will collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
  1. Deliver SAP IS-Retail implementation, rollout, and optimisation projects.
  2. Gather and analyse business requirements.
  3. Configure SAP IS-Retail solutions to meet business needs.
  4. Facilitate client workshops and solution design sessions.
  5. Support Merchandise Management, Pricing, Promotions, Assortment Planning, and Master Data processes.
  6. Work closely with SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, EWM, CAR, and S/4HANA teams.
  7. Support testing, go-live activities, and post-implementation enhancements.
  8. Provide expert functional guidance and best-practice recommendations.
  9. Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 4 years' SAP IS-Retail consulting experience.
  2. Strong understanding of SAP Retail business processes.
  3. Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Retail projects is highly desirable.
  4. Hands-on SAP configuration experience.
  5. Knowledge of SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, EWM, and SAP CAR integration.
  6. Previous experience working within a consulting environment.
  7. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Language Requirements
  1. Fluent German (C1/C2) – Essential
  2. Professional English (B2+) – Required
Desirable
  1. SAP Retail or SAP S/4HANA Certification.
  2. Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
  3. Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  4. Agile project delivery experience.
