Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Lead to oversee and manage our organization's Financial Accounting (FI) module. As the SAP FI Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of SAP FI professionals, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation, configuration, and support of SAP FI functionalities. Your expertise in SAP FI, combined with your leadership skills, will be instrumental in optimizing financial processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of SAP FI professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management to ensure high-quality delivery of SAP FI services.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and IT teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FI solutions.
- Oversee the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of SAP FI module, ensuring alignment with business processes and accounting standards.
- Design and implement financial processes within SAP FI, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, bank accounting, and cost element accounting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FI with other modules such as Controlling (CO), Material Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD), ensuring seamless data flow and consistent financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards, staying up to date with relevant regulations and proactively implementing necessary system and process changes.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data within SAP FI, conducting periodic audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement enhancements, customizations, and reports within SAP FI to meet evolving business requirements.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and testing activities related to SAP FI, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide end-user training and support to enhance user adoption and maximize the utilization of SAP FI functionalities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP FI, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends, and making recommendations for system improvements and optimizations.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, training materials, and user manuals.
