Role – SAP BTP Solution Architect
The BTP Solution Architect for a transformation program will play a pivotal role in defining and building the target architecture by modernizing the existing legacy SAP landscape. This transformation will leverage the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) as the foundation for Integration, Analytics, Custom Extensions, and other BTP services.
The Solution Architect will be responsible for guiding decision-making by evaluating various solution options and ensuring alignment with business objectives. These evaluations will focus on key factors such as scalability, user experience, and total cost of ownership (TCO), enabling the organization to adopt a future-ready and efficient architecture
Key Responsibilities
• Provide consultation to customers in building a roadmap leveraging SAP BTP Services (Including Integration, Application Development and Analytics)
• Collaborate with Business to develop a scalable architecture that aligns with Business Objectives and SAP Best practices.
• Develop integration and Custom Extension Strategies using the Integration suite (Cloud Integration, API Management etc.,) SAP Extension Suite (SAP Business Application Studio, Cloud Application Modelling etc.,)
• Design Roadmap for seamless integration with SAP S/4 HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP ARIBA and other third-party applications.
• Develop a roadmap which adheres to cloud-native principles, including scalabilities-silence and performance optimization
• Collaborate with Business Teams, developers, and project managers to ensure a robust target architecture
• Provide support to business in making the right decision considering the Capital, Operating Expenditure, Return on investment and overall technical cost.
Essential Skills
• 15+ years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect for defining the end-to-end architecture and target Landscape using cloud services
• Experience in SAP BTP Services, including integration suite, extension suite and Analytical Services
• Familiarity with SAP FIORI/UI5 , CAP(Cloud Application Programming) and RAP(RESTful Application Programming)
• Experience with APIs, ODATA Services and middleware tools.
• Strong Understanding of SAP and Non-SAP System Integrations
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, and blockchain within the SAP ecosystem
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and its integration with BTP.
Certifications
• SAP BTP Certification (SAP Certified Development Associate) or SAP Certified Solution Architect
