Role: Salesforce Developer
Location: Fully remote
Language: Fluent German required
Start Date: Beginning of July
Duration: 9–12 months
Capacity: 80%
Company Context:
Organization has undergone a major restructuring (company merger, internal changes).
High workload, expected to grow over time.
Responsibilities:
Maintain existing Salesforce modules (bug fixing).
Develop new features and support future requirements.
Read and interpret documentation (German).
Apex
– Advanced Apex development
– Triggers, classes, clean, modular architecture
– Use of design patterns
– Focus on maintainable and extensible structures
– Experience with complex system landscapes
– Integration via REST/SOAP
– Handling certificates (e.g. SSL)
Deployment
– SFDX (including package development)
– Git
– GitLab CI/CD
– Gearset (optional)
Collaboration & Code Practices
– Working with Git and branching strategies
– Clean commits and meaningful commit messages
– Code review processes (e.g. merge requests)
– Documentation of architecture and decisions
– Automation via scripts and CI pipelines
– Versioning and traceability (e.g. releases, tags)
Platform & Tools
– Salesforce AI Toolkits
– Salesforce Marketing Cloud
– Jira, Confluence
Integrations
– Integration via OAuth flows
– Supported flows: OAuth 2.0 Web Server Flow, OAuth 2.0 User-Agent Flow
– Authentication with JWT, Named Credentials
– SAML integration
– API communication and external system integration
System Environment (Nice to Have)
– Experience with Node.js or Java
– Understanding of WordPress, PHP-/Java-based backends

Communication
– Fluent spoken and written German is required
– Able to communicate clearly and professionally with admins, external developers, and business stakeholders
– Comfortable taking full ownership of tasks from start to finish
– Able to ask questions, clarify requirements, and give updates
– Acts independently while remaining well-integrated with the team
