Beschreibung

Darwin Recruitment are currently hiring for a Quality Lead for a space company in Luxembourg to help develop the new generation of water-based propulsion systems and deep-space avionics products. As their Quality Lead you will be in charge of all their quality activities, from implementing the Quality Management System up to developing, implementing and executing product assurance standard across their product lines during development and manufacturing.

Your main tasks are:

* Implementation of an AS9100/ISO9001 compliant group-level Quality Management System

* Define and setup company-wide processes supporting 'one-way-of-working'

* Ensuring customer and regulatory compliance

* The Quality Lead is involved with understanding the customer requirements and translating these for the organization.

Essential Skills

* Any degree in aerospace, mechanical, industrial, or other engineering disciplines

* 3+ years of working experience in the aerospace or automotive, medical, military or other quality controlled or process-based industry

* Familiarity with quality assurance objectives, principles, methods and processes

* Proficient English language skills

* A careful and thorough work attitude with attention to detail

* A passion for space

Strongly Valued Skills

* Previous manufacturing or design engineering roles

* Knowledge of quality tools and techniques

* Experience preparing industry typical reviews (PDR, CDR, …)

* Knowledge of relevant space sector quality standards (e.g. ECSS-Q, IPC, AS9100)

* Experience with space propulsion and/or electronics systems

* Experience with measurement methods, metrologies, instrumentation and calibration techniques

* Expertise in reliability analysis or reliability assessments tools & methods (PSA, FMEAs, WCA, FIT calculations)

* Exposure to full-lifecycle spacecraft subsystems development process

Key Responsibilities

* Implement, maintain and improve the Quality Management System

* Maintain and improve Configuration Management and Documentation Management Processes

* Assure that DSIe and external employees work according to the Quality Management System through internal and external audits

* Manage quality requirements during product design, development, test and delivery

* Capture, maintain and verify product configuration during their lifecycles

* Manage the processes for NCRs, RFQs, RFDs and PADs

* Identify and help solving problems that pose a risk for product quality and safety

* Perform internal audits to validate flight parts or flight hardware-related services from suppliers

* Issue Statements of Compliance when processes are correctly followed

* Interface with customers to inform and address quality-specific concerns

* Execute independent reliability analyses

* Creation of quality control documentation for various review and delivery stages
