Responsibilities:
- Provide direction to QC labs and MFG areas regarding equipment maintenance, regulatory compliance, site procedures, and life cycle management for instrumentation.
- Coordinate projects and deliverables, ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Write and review technical documents related to the operation, maintenance, and system administration of QC and MFG analytical equipment/instrumentation.
- Schedule and balance workload concerning equipment/instrument availability.
- Prioritize projects to ensure adherence to regulatory licenses and regulations.
- Interface with key Quality, IT, validation, metrology, and vendor representatives.
- Develop, coordinate, and review operational and maintenance procedures for all QC and MFG analytical equipment/instrumentation.
- Serve as a back-up system administrator when designated, once the system is released for production use.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge in equipment maintenance and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with project management, particularly in the context of equipment qualification, validation, and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in technical writing and document review.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Familiarity with IT systems, validation processes, and metrology.
- Experience with managing analytical equipment and instruments in GMP Quality
- Control laboratories.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years experience.
- Familiarity with lab applications such as LabWare LIMS, Empower CDS, and vendor?supplied instrument control and data analysis software commonly used in QC laboratories in the pharmaceutical industry.
