For a project we are looking for a:
Project Quality Manager (m/f/d) – Renewables ID26749-2
Assignment period: 05.01.2026 – 31.12.2026
Volume: 2700 hours on-site and remote, 25% travel time
Location: Hungary
Project name: Renewables 2025 Execution Portfolio
Project description: The aim of the project Renewables 2025 Execution Portfolio is to successfully execute the construction of a solar power plant in multiple locations.
Task description - The scope of services includes the following tasks, which are performed independently:
- Monitoring, Steering and documentation of the quality requirements across all assigned projects, defining the adherence of contractual, regulatory, and industry quality requirements by contractors, suppliers, and partners by taking into consideration project information, quality checklists and requirements provided in advance and own knowledge and experience.
- ? The assigned projects are: multiple international sites (start approx. Q2 2026 – Q3 2026)
- Establishment, maintenance, and oversight of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) from late-stage development through execution and project closure, with the aim of monitoring and documentation of a consistent application of quality standards.
- Creation and review of quality documentation including Quality Plans, ITPs, Method Statements, and related records with the subcontractors on-site.
- Conduction and oversight of audits, inspections, and surveillance of contractors and suppliers by monitoring the compliance against approved standards, specifications, and quality management systems.
- Identification and documentation of non-conformances, driving timely resolution in line with contract terms while preventing recurrence based on own professional evaluation with the aim of achieving a compliant process.
- Gathering of relevant information from Engineering, Procurement, HSE, Construction, and Project Management teams with the aim of making the contractors comply with all set standards and presenting this information to project leadership.
- Creation of a (bi-weekly) Quality Risk Report including quality risks, deviations, and potential impacts on project delivery, as a basis for transparency and proactive risk management and handing over to the project leadership for further use.
- Documentation of continuous improvement initiatives by defining quality requirements in RFQs/RFPs, applying lessons learned, leveraging digital tools, and promoting best practices across the project lifecycle and handing over for further use.
- Creation of a Quality-status-Report (bi-weekly or at certain key stages of the project) and handing over to the Quality Management Team Lead for a sign-off and further use.
The construction period is planned: November 2025 – December 2026 (commissioning by the end of March 2027). The Project Quality Manager (PQM) is to be deployed in the short term for the initial project, but in the medium term should also be prepared to take over other international projects.
Must Haves:
- Solar Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a similar position is an absolute must.
- Software/Skills: Proficiency in quality management tools, auditing techniques, and reporting methods (ISO 9001, NCR handling, corrective action management).
- Language: Very good English; other languages are a plus.
- Travel: The candidate must be willing to travel (various international sites). 100% on-site at the primary location. The consultant is expected to travel monthly to other sites starting from certain dates. Travel expenses will be billed separately. Travel time counts as working hours.
- Work Arrangement: The Quality Manager must spend one day on-site at each location, while the remaining two days can be worked remotely or on a facility, performing administrative tasks (reporting, etc.).
