Job Details:
Role: Software Engineer Host
Location: Remote
Project start: asap
Project duration: 3 MM++ (quarterly commission)
Tasks:
The software engineer is involved in the development of a requirement, starting with the analysis and beyond the test to delivery in production, including the resulting maintenance measures. He brings his skills to the software development team to master upcoming tasks together and find efficient solutions.
Characteristics Centrally developed software in the central (host) environment in COBOL / SWT etc.
• Conceives, designs, develops, tests, maintains and maintains software.
• Takes into account the modularization, scaling, and maintainability of the software product.
• Is able to perform different task disciplines within the team (development decentralized, development centralized, test and technical expertise), can be a specialist in one discipline.
• The software engineer specifies and estimates requirements in sprint planning or during the design phase.
• Identifies, organizes, and works on tasks in coordination with the team.
• Identifies suitable measures and implements them to optimize teamwork as part of the continuous improvement process.
• Implementation of modules/databases
• Integration of modules/databases into software units
• Execution of developer tests (including handover to the test infrastructure and final tests of the implemented modules)
Knowledge:
• zOS HOST Cobol and SWT
• GIT, Jenkins, Bitbucket Software Distribution
• MQ Middleware
• SQL (DB2)
• Know-how in the securities sector
• Knowledge of troubleshooting methods
