für unseren Kunden bin ich derzeit auf der Suche nach einem Procurement Manager (m/w/d)

Your Day to Day:

Core duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Global Procurement Standardization & Optimization: Within the dynamics of a growing FinTech company, you will continuously focus on process improvement of the end-end globally defined procurement framework. To do so, you will focus on understanding the business need, budget allocations, RFP processes, vendor selections, contract negotiations/execution and vendor onboarding.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders internally to clarify specifications, and expectations, and streamline contract closure to optimize total cost of ownership and operational effectiveness. And closely work with the business leaders and the Finance Teams to reduce the number of vendors to a narrow group of world-class, trusted partners
  • Vendor Negotiations & Agreement Optimization: Negotiate advantageous terms with new vendors, finalize purchase details, and manage supply contracts.
  • Review & Optimize: Have a close look at existing partner and vendor agreements including renegotiating with existing partners and vendors to secure more advantageous terms and/or reduced risks. Identify ineffective agreements and proactively lead the selection or renegotiation of mission-critical contracts to enhance effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Track and report key metrics for expense reduction, risk assessment, and operational improvement, collaborating with Finance for enhanced transactions.
  • Analyzing Risks: Anticipate and strategize control measures for potential risks through data analysis while providing proactive procurement trend dashboards. o Conduct business reviews with stakeholders, implement savings plans transparently, and set benchmarks for continuous improvement.


What makes you excel in this position:
  • Background: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Leader of a Procurement process for a mid-size company.
  • Procurement: Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in "reading" the market.
  • SAP S4/HANA: Experience with SAP S4/HANA is a huge plus.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: You are an expert in collecting and analyzing data.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrative negotiating, persuasion, and networking experience. Besides that, you are experienced in giving presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Taking the Lead: You bring strong leadership skills and are accustomed to making data-driven decisions.
