Project Description: The Process Manager will join the team responsible for building an internal platform aimed at accelerating the development and delivery of software products to address the challenges in the energy sector. This platform is a service-oriented, cloud-native solution designed to provide application teams with self-service capabilities for developing, running, and operating their software products. The platform is a hybrid cloud, combining both private and select public clouds.
Responsibilities:
Document and describe the current delivery processes within individual product teams and across the entire program.
Focus areas include:
Software delivery lifecycle: planning, implementation, and release through different stages to production.
Feature testing and quality assurance (QA).
Agile practices and ways of working, including Scrum, Kanban, test automation, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
Risk, issue, and dependency management.
Progress and status reporting.
Production operations interaction with ITIL underpinnings.
Design and facilitate the evolution of future state processes.
Collaborate with product teams to align cross-program ways of working and improve team maturity.
Contribute to the EDP Operating Model, describing how the program, product teams, and functions deliver the platform.
Profile Requirements:
Senior-level practitioner in process description, presentation, and change management.
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile, and Scrum methodologies.
Commercial experience in Agile product delivery teams and large-scale projects/programs.
Over 5 years of experience in process and change management.
Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Skill Requirements:
Process Management Expertise: Ability to define, document, and implement scalable processes in a collaborative approach. Adaptability to changing priorities and complex environments.
Delivery Frameworks Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and traditional IT project management frameworks like ITIL. Proven through certifications or hands-on project experience.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Clear communicator with experience collaborating across teams. Able to monitor process adherence.
Documentation Excellence: Skilled in creating clear and comprehensive process documentation using tools like Confluence, Jira, or specialized process documentation tools.
Language Skills:
Fluent in English (speech and writing).

Tech-Driven Program Experience: Background in delivery processes within technology or cloud-focused programs.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify process gaps and proactively implement improvements.
Visualizing and Diagramming: Ability to visualize and diagram concepts, business, and team processes.
Facilitating Collaborative Sessions: Experience with remote and in-person collaboration tools such as Miro and Mural, and approaches like Event Storming, Brainstorming, Retrospectives, Alignment Resolution, and Interactive Project Planning.
The role reports to the Platform Delivery Lead and involves active alignment and collaboration with other members of the Platform Delivery team and product teams.
