Beschreibung
Purpose:
Support the transition from static to dynamic pricing by managing data, implementing a holistic database, establishing reporting, supporting pricing automatization, and validate pricing strategies and rules collaborating cross-functionally.
Support the Category Management team with data and Power BI reports. Develop data models used for reporting from raw data.
Accountabilities & Tasks:
Manage and Combine External/Internal Data (25%):
·Select, onboard and manage external partner to gather competitor pricing
·Ensure internal data readiness to set up automated matching for company specific brands
·Set up automated data pipeline pushing new or removing delisted products
·Set up automated data pipeline in general for data needed for analyses and/or reporting.
Develop and implement a database and set up a robust reporting (25%):
·Analyse and prepare collected pricing data enriched with internal data (COGS, stock level, …) for purchasing and sales departments
·Set up an automated reporting for purchasing and sales department to deliver insights in current pricing compared to competitors
·Manage and lead regular meetings for the stakeholders to deliver insights based on internal and external data (e.g. product categories with most competitive prices; impact of prices to stock levels, CVR etc.)
·General set up of data base for a variety of use cases around pricing and category management
Validate pricing strategies and rules in alignment with purchasing and sales departments (25%):
·Build up an understanding about existing pricing rules and strategies from different stakeholders and tools.
·Define, present and agree based on analysis proposals to define new pricing rules and strategies to achieve targets
·Define pricing rules and strategies in close cooperation with sales, purchasing and product management and implement in the system
·Validate the success of new pricing rules and strategies
·Analyse performance of product and product categories
Support adaptation of internal IT systems for automatic pricing updates (15%):
·Define the requirements for the new system
·Ensure communication flow collaborating with IT and digital departments
·Monitor implementation and embeddedness to ensure successful outcome
·Implement MVP solutions on BI stack to test new data flows and data source
Being the ambassador for dynamic pricing in the company (10%):
·Manage alignment meeting with stakeholders
·Present finding and key issues to senior management
Technology used:
Power BI, Google Analytics, Microsoft SQL Server, KNIME for workflow automation, internally developed tools and systems
Challenges:
Migrating the organization from a static pricing to data driven dynamic pricing model. Imbalance of headcount on business and BI side.
Must-Have-Skills:
·(Extensive) pricing experience in retail or any related B2C industry
·Proven Track Record in Pricing Analysis using internal and external data
·Manage without owning and leading by consensus
·Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and get things done
·Ability to work in dynamic and changing environment
·Experience in pricing and analysing of 500K+ SKUs
·Data preparation, visualisation and interpretation
·Solid expertise in BI tools (E.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and SQL
Nice-to-Have-Skills:
·MA, MBA or MSc
·Track record of working with a data driven dynamic pricing system to optimize pricing performance for online and stationary business
·Furniture retail industry experience
·Change Management
