Looking for an SAP Basis Expert – S/4HANA Upgrade & FIORI

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Expert with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA system upgrades using SUM (Software Update Manager) and SAP FIORI configuration. The role will support SAP technical transformation initiatives focused on system conversion and upgrade activities, without custom code changes. The candidate will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of the upgrade.

Support technical SAP transformation initiatives (system upgrade/conversion without code remediation).

Perform SAP S/4HANA upgrade using SUM, including preparation, execution, and post-upgrade activities.

Plan and execute mandatory SAP FIORI configuration and activation post S/4HANA conversion.

Perform system checks, SP/EHP upgrades, add-on compatibility verification, and downtime optimization.

Coordinate closely with project managers, functional teams, and technical stakeholders to align activities with the overall project plan.

Monitor system performance, resolve Basis-related issues, and ensure system stability during and after upgrade.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, upgrade plans, and cutover activities.

Support testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT) and production cutover.

Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.

Proven experience performing S/4HANA upgrades using SUM.

Solid knowledge of SAP FIORI architecture, configuration, and post-conversion activation.

Experience with SAP technical transformation projects (ECC to S/4HANA upgrades).

Good understanding of SAP system landscapes, transports, and client strategy.

Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional project teams.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
