Role: Engineer Shop Floor IT Support—Manufacturing
Hiring mode: Employment contract of 1 year with extension/Permanent position
Location: Hamburg/Nordenham/Augsburg, Germany Germany
Remote/Onsite/Hybrid: 100% Onsite
Language: English & German fluent
Job Description:
What to expect
- Daily monitoring and handling of incidents (ideally with Remedy)
- Collaborate with customers (IT & business users) on functional issues
- Supporting the team through knowledge transfer and problem solving
- Stakeholder management and preparation of operational reports
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for rapid problem resolution
- Adherence to service management processes (incident, change, capacity, problem)
- Ensure SLA compliance and delivery quality
- Work in shifts according to rotation schedule
- Exchange with SME's (Subject Matter Experts)
- Communication with suppliers, OEMs and business partners
- Generate Progress Reports to Stakeholders
What you bring to the table
- Completed university studies
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Shop Floor systems and IT devices (e.g. printers, scanners, MRIs)
- Experience in the application and support of MES, SAP, CAD/CAM
- IT endpoint knowledge and Windows server basics
- Experience with complex manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of ServiceNow as well as ITIL processes
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a team and initiative
- Fluent in German and English
- Willingness to travel throughout Germany
