Beschreibung

Avenga is looking for an IT Technical Support Specialist. Our customer is a worldwide finance company. The client provides secure and efficient all-encompassing solutions for payment management, which encompass the distribution, handling, recycling, and storage of cash and other valuable assets.

As an IT Technical Support Specialist you will be responsible for continuous technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues from end-users related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

Requirements:
3+ years of experience as an IT Helpdesk/IT Tech Support;
Expertise in Windows and Linux system support and maintenance;
Familiarity with Active Directory and Exchange;
Knowledge of SCCM;
Business trips around Germany by company car are planned, locations such as Ruhr area, Duisburg with frequent travel to Dortmund, Wesseling, Aachen, Paderborn and Bremen;
Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN architecture, Firewall/VLAN configuration, NAT/Hardware-based load balancing, encryption and network security best practices;
Knowledge of Internet network concepts, protocols, and associated services (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SCP, DNS);
Ability to prioritize assignments, handle shifting deadlines, multitask, and work independently as well as in a team environment;
German and English - Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities:
Manage the patching of network connections and ensure proper cabling for devices such as printers, monitors, and PCs;
Oversee the moving and setup of equipment as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to operations;
Install software applications on user devices and troubleshoot any software-related issues that arise;
Configure laptops and desktops for end-users, ensuring they are set up according to organizational standards and user requirements;
Provide support for Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) onsite, addressing any technical issues or user inquiries.
