Job Title: Product Manager– Identity & Access Management (IAM)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of Identity & Access Management (IAM) services within a modern, hybrid cloud platform. This role is ideal for a mid-to-senior level professional with a strong background in IAM, cloud-native technologies, and DevSecOps environments. You will define the product vision, manage the roadmap, and ensure seamless integration of IAM components such as Keycloak and Vault.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Roadmap
Develop and maintain a clear IAM product vision aligned with platform and security strategy.
Translate platform-wide security and usability requirements into a prioritized feature backlog.
Define and iterate on short-, mid-, and long-term roadmap items for IAM products.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Management
Consult with platform architecture and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure technical alignment.
Facilitate cross-functional workshops to capture and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
Resolve conflicting stakeholder needs through transparent prioritization and consensus building.
Product Specification & Value Definition
Document IAM product features, personas, and user journeys for services such as authentication, authorization, and secrets management.
Define clear value propositions and acceptance criteria for each product increment.
Gather and synthesize feedback from stakeholders to inform product iterations.
Ensure traceability from stakeholder input to delivered functionality.
Technical Integration & Lifecycle Management
Drive the integration planning and rollout of IAM components into Kubernetes-based environments.
Ensure IAM services are production-ready, maintainable, and aligned with platform operations practices.
Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to define service-level objectives and support models.
Manage interdependencies between IAM components and other platform services.
Agile Delivery Coordination
Act as a product owner proxy in agile ceremonies (e.g., planning, reviews).
Define readiness criteria and validate deliverables against functional and architectural expectations.
Monitor progress of IAM-related work items and support delivery teams as needed.
Coordinate delivery milestones with overall platform delivery plans.
PKI & Secrets Management
Define and prioritize product features for certificate lifecycle and secrets management (e.g., Vault).
Align with security teams to ensure compliance and secure integration of PKI and secrets handling.
Translate technical requirements into user-focused backlog items with clear value.
Your Profile
Mid-to-senior level experience in product management, with a strong focus on IAM in cloud-native and hybrid environments.
Deep understanding of authentication, authorization, secrets management, and identity lifecycle concepts.
Proven experience delivering IAM services in modern DevSecOps setups.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English (German is a plus).
