Support Engineer – Data Center
Job Type: Contract (12 Months)
Location: On-site – Munich, Germany
Languages Required: Fluent German and English
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 on-site support for data center hardware, software, and network systems
Monitor infrastructure health and troubleshoot performance or connectivity issues
Support server and network equipment installation, testing, and maintenance
Collaborate with local and global teams to resolve incidents and fulfill service requests
Maintain documentation, update tickets, and follow ITIL-based processes
Participate in incident response, preventive maintenance, and system checks
Ensure adherence to data center standards, compliance, and security protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2–5 years of hands-on support experience in IT infrastructure or data center environments
Proficiency in supporting Windows/Linux OS, networking basics, and hardware troubleshooting
Knowledge of server hardware, cabling, racks, switches, and remote management tools
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in both German and English
Must be eligible to work on-site in Munich, Germany
