FSA260427P3B1: Software Engineer (Remote, India)
We support the firm in designing and implementing high-performance backend systems for large-scale network telemetry processing, analytics, and API exposure in a distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-throughput collectors and protocol decoders for NetFlow, sFlow, and IPFIX telemetry data
- Build and maintain flow enrichment pipelines correlating network and infrastructure data
- Develop real-time analytics and aggregation engines for large-scale flow processing
- Create scalable REST and GraphQL APIs to expose traffic insights and metrics
- Integrate with time-series and columnar databases for historical analysis
- Implement anomaly detection and traffic baselining mechanisms
- Collaborate with network engineers to validate flow accuracy across vendors
- Contribute to multi-tenant architecture design with data isolation and role-based access
- Promote engineering best practices through code reviews and documentation
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with UDP/TCP socket programming and binary protocol parsing
- Production experience handling NetFlow, sFlow, or IPFIX at enterprise scale
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, BGP, VLANs, QoS, and NAT
- Proven track record of building reliable and maintainable backend services in distributed systems
