One of Energize’s clients is currently looking for a Senior SAP Cutover Manager to support a large S/4HANA transformation programme.
The focus of the role is to take ownership of the cutover strategy and execution across a complex, multi-system landscape in preparation for a major go-live planned for 2028.
This is a senior position in a large enterprise environment, requiring strong coordination skills across IT, business, and multiple project streams.
Your responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the overall cutover strategy
• Plan and coordinate all cutover activities end-to-end
• Organise dress rehearsals, mock runs, and final go-live execution
• Align multiple projects, systems, and stakeholders
• Identify risks, dependencies, and critical transition points
• Ensure clear governance, reporting, and decision-making during cutover phases
• Work with tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
Your profile:
• 10+ years experience in SAP cutover / go-live management
• Strong experience with large S/4HANA transformation programmes
• Good understanding of SAP architecture (Basis, integrations, migrations)
• Experience in cross-module environments (e.g. FI/CO)
• Proven experience with large-scale “big bang” cutovers
• Experience in complex enterprise organisations (200,000+ users)
• Strong communication skills, including C-level stakeholder management
• German language is required
Contract details:
• Start: April/May 2026
• Duration: until March 2028 + extension
• Working model: Hybrid
- Mostly remote
- Onsite in Frankfurt (occasional travel to Berlin)
- Around 2/3 days per month onsite, more during cutover phases
