Job Summary:
Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Senior Avaloq Consultant with several years of Avaloq expertise and a strong technical background in banking and IT. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of delivering sustainable, high-quality solutions under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on Avaloq parameterization across multiple domains (Payments, Credit, Trading, etc.).
- Lead and execute technical projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
- Develop and deliver internal technical training on JavaScript, REST APIs, SQL, and other technologies.
- Lead and manage incident resolution, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless system operations.
- Design and implement scalable, robust solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.
- Support data migration initiatives and optimize database performance (Oracle, PL/SQL).
- Engage in the development of fraud detection and payment profiling systems.
Qualifications:
- Extensive Experience in Avaloq (several years) with deep technical expertise in parameterization and customization.
- Proven experience in banking domains, including Payments, FX/MM, Loans, SWIFT.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, IT security, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to train and coach junior team members.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ITIL processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of delivering under pressure.
