Project Scope:
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support the development and optimization of audio-video networking solutions based on time-sensitive networking (TSN). You will be responsible for designing and validating real-time data transmission systems using AVB/Milan protocols, with a focus on high-precision timing and deterministic performance.
Key Responsibilities:
•Design and implement TSN-compliant network architectures for audio-video applications
•Work with AVB/Milan standards to ensure interoperability and performance
•Configure and test managed network switches, VLANs, QoS, and clock synchronization mechanisms
•Collaborate with embedded software and hardware teams to integrate network solutions
•Perform network performance analysis and fine-tuning for jitter, latency, and synchronization
Required Skills & Experience:
•Proven experience with AVB / AVB Milan protocols in professional audio or broadcasting environments
•Solid understanding of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN): 802.1AS, 802.1Qav, 802.1Qbv, 802.1Qbu, etc.
•Hands-on expertise with switch configuration (e.g., Cisco, Netgear, Extreme, or similar)
•Experience in real-time systems and deterministic network design
•Familiarity with PTP (Precision Time Protocol) and network timing mechanisms
•Strong problem-solving and testing/debugging capabilities
•Fluent in English (German is a bonus)
