Enterprise Network Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and skilled IT professional to join our team as a Network & IT Security Engineer. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining modern, secure, and scalable network solutions for our organization. Key Responsibilities:
• Network Architecture: Design stable and future-proof network infrastructures (LAN / WAN / WLAN) to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.
• Firewall Security: Safeguard our systems with robust, adaptive firewall solutions to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment.
• Proxy Management: Optimize network traffic and implement secure access pathways through innovative proxy strategies.
• Proactive Monitoring: Maintain top performance of our IT infrastructure via continuous monitoring and intelligent issue analysis.
• Project Implementation: Lead and deliver impactful IT projects from planning to successful execution — with precision and dedication.
Required Skills & Specializations:
• Enterprise Networks, LAN/WAN
• Network Security, Firewalls, Proxy Servers
• Network Administration & Engineering
• Troubleshooting complex network issues
• Technologies such as Aruba or SASE (preferred)
Qualifications:
• Completed education in IT, e.g. IT Management Assistant, IT Specialist for System Integration, or an equivalent qualification
• Proven hands-on experience with modern network technologies and systems administration
• Strong background in network security and firewall configuration/operation
• Goal-oriented, structured work approach with a strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills
Language Requirement:
• Fluent German (spoken and written) is mandatory
• Proficiency in English is a strong advantage
