The role is completely remote

The contract is 10 months with possible extensions

Job Description:
  • Manage multiple small EDI integration projects for new suppliers of the client.
  • Create project timelines and roadmaps.
  • Handle project administration, monitoring, reporting, and closure.
  • Ensure proper handover of completed projects.
  • Conduct initial gap analysis for multiple suppliers who want to integrate into the client's system.
  • Provide high-level technical support during the integration process.
  • Manage a technical integration support team.
  • Integrate EDI partners via the client's standard message interfaces.
  • Read, understand, and analyze EDIFACT and XML message structures.
  • Create EDIFACT messages based on guidelines, transmit messages, and understand the in- and outbound conversion logic to XML standard messages (mainly ORDERS, ORDCHG, ORDRSP, DELFOR, DESADV, INVOIC, RECADV, and INVRPT structures).
  • Create service requests for message entity setup and obtain approval via ITIL standard change procedures.
  • Set up partners in the client's portal, link customer and supplier plants, and set WebEDI or EDI or WebEDI/EDI supply triggers.
  • Provide technical consulting to business partners in a clear, structured, and professional manner.

Must have skills:
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English and German with good communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of EDI standards including EDIFACT, XML, and IDOC.
  • Experience in Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, and Jira.
  • Advanced experience in IT-related 1st and 2nd-level customer support.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, conceptual approach to work with a high sense of responsibility.
