Beschreibung

Für unseren Kunden suche ich einen DevOps Specialist (m/w/d) für ein Projekt in Hallbergmoos in Arbeitnehmerüberlassung.

1. Project Context and Objective
As part of a client project, the implementation and ongoing support of a modern IT infrastructure is required.
The focus is on automation, container orchestration, logging, and system integration.
All services must be delivered exclusively on-site at the client’s premises (no remote option).

2. Scope of Services
2.1. Automation and Configuration Management
• Develop, implement, and maintain automation processes using Ansible.
• Create and adapt playbooks for automated configuration and management of systems.
• Document automation processes and hand over to the client team.

2.2. Linux System Administration (RHEL, Oracle Linux)
• Administer and operate Linux systems (RHEL, Oracle Linux as applicable).
• Perform package management, system updates, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare operational documentation and hand over to the client.

2.3. Container Orchestration with Kubernetes and Rancher
• Set up, configure, and operate Kubernetes clusters, including monitoring and scaling.
• Integrate and manage clusters using Rancher as the management platform.
• Implement logging solutions via Rancher Logging (if required).
• Integrate VMware vSphere storage into Kubernetes using VMware vSphere CSI.

2.4. Virtualization with VMware vSphere and ESXi
• Set up, operate, and maintain virtual machines based on VMware vSphere and ESXi.
• Document the virtualization environment and hand over to the client team.

2.5. Container Registry and Scripting
• Set up and operate a container registry (Harbor) for images.
• Develop Bash/Shell scripts to automate recurring tasks.

2.6. Backup, Networking, and Web Server
• Implement and support basic backup and recovery solutions (NetBackup).
• Configure and operate Nginx as a web server, reverse proxy, and load balancer.
• Perform basic network diagnostics (IP, routing, firewalls).

2.7. REST API Integration and Hardware
• Integrate and use REST interfaces for system connectivity.
• Provide basic configuration and support for server and network hardware.

3. Conditions and Requirements
• All services must be delivered exclusively on-site at the client’s premises.
• Security clearance SÜ2 must be available or achievable at short notice.
• The tasks must be performed in a way that ensures a clear distinction between external and internal services at all times.

4. Deliverables
• Complete documentation of all implemented solutions and processes.
• Handover and training of the client team on the created systems and automations.
• Provision of scripts, playbooks, and configuration files in an agreed format.

Anforderungen must have:
  1. Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  2. Advanced knowledge of Linux (RHEL, possibly Oracle Linux) with a deep understanding of system administration, package management, and troubleshooting.
  3. Experience with Kubernetes, including cluster setup, deployment, and operations (monitoring and scaling).
  4. Familiarity with VMware vSphere and ESXi, with experience in virtualization and managing VMs.
  5. Hands-on experience with Rancher as a management platform for Kubernetes.
  6. SÜ2 required
Anforderungen nice to have:
  1. Rancher Logging: Experience in implementing and managing logging solutions through Rancher.
  2. Harbor (Container Registry): Proficiency in setting up and operating a container registry for images.
  3. Scripting (Bash/Shell): Ability to create scripts and automations for recurring tasks.
  4. NetBackup: Basic knowledge in backup and recovery solutions.
  5. Network Basics: Understanding of IP, routing, firewalls, and fundamental network diagnostics.
  6. Nginx: Experience in configuring and operating as a web server, reverse proxy, and load balancer.
  7. REST APIs: Basic knowledge of integrating and utilizing REST interfaces.
  8. Kubernetes Storage with VMware vSphere CSI: Knowledge of integrating VMware storage into Kubernetes.
  9. Server and Network Hardware: Basic knowledge of physical components and their configurations.
