For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior Observability Engineer / OpenTelemetry Consultant (m/f/x) with a strong focus on OpenTelemetry and modern observability solutions. This freelance project offers a technically challenging environment, a long term perspective, and the opportunity to help shape a modern monitoring landscape.
Your Tasks- Instrument .NET and Angular applications with OpenTelemetry
- Build and improve tracing, metrics, and logging solutions
- Configure and optimize monitoring with Azure Application Insights and Datadog
- Create dashboards, alerts, and monitoring concepts for production systems
- Work closely with the development team and share your expertise with the customer
- Strong experience with OpenTelemetry in production .NET environments
- Experience with distributed tracing across frontend, backend, and databases
- Good knowledge of observability platforms such as Application Insights, Datadog, or Grafana
- Experience building dashboards, alerts, and monitoring solutions
- Fluent English is required. German is a strong plus
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 12 months with option to extend
- Workload: Full time
- Location: 100% remote
- Travel: Willingness to travel once to India and/or China (10 to 12 days per destination). All travel expenses will be covered by the client.
