DevOps Engineer - Contract Opportunity - AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, Jenkins - Hybrid, Bologna

A large global organisation are looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to assist on a large scale project.

This will be a 12 months initial contract with the possibility for multiple extensions.

The role will be based in Bologna, Italy on a Hybrid basis – 2 days required on site.
The first 2/3 weeks you would be required to be on site full time.
Fluent in English & Italian is mandatory

Key Responsibilities/Skills
  1. Experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
  2. Knowledge of AWS Services.
  3. Extensive experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  4. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash: ability to automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
  5. Experience with tools like Ansible for configuration management.
  6. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools like Jenkins.
  7. Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  8. Experience with networking.
  9. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace.
  10. Install or upgrade vendor systems on-premises/in cloud.
  11. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and groovy.
