Job Summary:
The role involves testing and validating individual components of railway systems and equipment, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and quality standards. The focus is on Rolling Stock and Train Control & Management Systems (TCMS).
Key Responsibilities:
Perform TDD Adapter HLFG Tests for Do2010 SW releases 2.0.0.x.
Produce SCTS, SCTR, and tracematrix documents based on TCMS requirements.
Conduct three main test runs: two for draft document production and one final run for reviewed documents.
Verify functionality, performance, and reliability of various components.
Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
Document findings and prepare detailed reports.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and quality assurance teams.
Use Vector Cast or MITRAC tools for testing.
Conduct regression testing for software components.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in testing and validation of components, preferably in the railway or transportation industry.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, proficiency in testing equipment and software.
Certifications (Optional):
Relevant certifications in quality assurance or testing methodologies (e.g., ISTQB, Six Sigma).
