Business Controller (m/f/d)

Hello,
currently, I am looking for a Business Controller (m/f/d) for my client:

• Start Date: As soon as possible, expected start on 1st July 2025
• Project Duration: Until the end of February 2026
• Location: Hamburg (2-3 days/week home office possible)
• Scope: Full-time
• Project Language: English

Must-Haves:

• Successfully completed studies in Controlling, Accounting (Business Administration), or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Controller
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Professional experience in using SAP (or similar) and Power BI
• International project experience and confident communication with stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Ideally, communication skills in German as well
• Ideally, experience in the energy market

Tasks:

• Monthly project reporting: Creation and processing of monthly department reporting. Supporting controllers in monthly meetings with managers.
• Monthly reporting: Follow-up on data quality issues (rebookings, data interface) to ensure data quality.
• Monthly reporting: Preparation of KPIs for departmental scorecards and gathering data from interfaces.
• Master data management: Managing changes in master data.
• Time writing: Managing the time writing report and the associated master data.
• Forecast and business plan: Supporting controllers in the preparation of forecasts and business plans.
• Ad hoc participation in BU/Controlling projects and strategic improvement initiatives.
