Professional background
Technical Skills

Cloud Knowledge (AWS-specific)
Basic understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail
Knowledge of AWS migration tools (e.g., AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Migration Hub)
Lift-and-shift strategy
Understanding of differences compared to re-platforming or re-architecting
Experience migrating legacy applications (handling app/license servers)
Networking and Security Concepts
VPN, Direct Connect, Security Groups, NACLs
IAM roles and permissions
Monitoring & Logging
Configuration of CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and integration with external tools (e.g., Splunk)

Error Analysis & Troubleshooting
Ability to identify and resolve performance or compatibility issues post-migration

Organizational & Methodical Skills

Project Management
Experience with agile methodologies or traditional project management frameworks
Ability to coordinate between business units, IT, security, and external partners

Change Management
Communication with stakeholders
Training and support for users after migration
Documentation & Compliance
Ensuring documentation of all migration steps
Adherence to data protection and security regulations (e.g., GDPR)
