Projektbeschreibung: Key Responsibilities: • Engage in the development and enhancement of the GERAS internal management software for insurance policies, premiums, and claims. • Participate in the decoupling and migration of GERAS interfaces to an accounting software system, primarily converting Database Procedures to Java. • Contribute to feature development and improvements in the data transfer process, transfering data between multiple locations • Implement general development tasks and enhancements related to the integration and interfacing of GERAS with external systems via web services. • Execute the migration of system components (i.e. databases, Swing frontends) • Enhance the user experience and functionality of the GERAS Swing Client application. Technologies • Core Technologies • Spring Boot • Java Swing • Oracle Database Development • Preferred Experience: • Cloud technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines • Test automation tools such as Gherkin, Cucumber Methodologies • Agile and Scrum frameworks for project management • DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Ideal Candidate Profile • Proficient in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot and Java Swing. • Strong experience in Oracle Database development and migration tasks. • Familiarity with cloud platforms and container orchestration systems. • Background in Agile methodologies, with experience in Scrum teams. • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, particularly in CI/CD pipelines.
