Project Summary
This project is an exploratory Proof of Concept (PoC) focused on validating an AI-driven development approach within the SAP environment. The primary goal is to determine if AI can be the main implementation model for transforming legacy ABAP code into modern ABAP Cloud (RAP / Clean Core) and transforming an existing onPrem/Private Cloud to a Public Cloud solution (Multi Tenant, data shielding, IAM).

Deliverables:
  1. Definition of the AI-driven development approach
  2. Setup of an AI-native development environment
  3. End-to-end implementation of a representative use case (end to end process) using AI as the primary execution layer

  1. Context provisioning
  2. Tool integration
  3. AI-driven workflow / pipeline design
  4. Skill / Instruction definition
Your Profile
We are seeking an experienced AI-native Engineering Lead with a hands-on approach to PoC ownership. The colleague needs to lead the effort, collaborate with two devs and engage with knowledge bearers (Product Owner/Architect) with combined 50+ years of product domain knowledge.

Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership : Lead the small engineering team for this exploratory Proof of Concept validating AI native development approach
  2. Project Management: Oversee the e2e execution of the PoC project, ensuring timely delivery & adherence to quality standards
  3. Technical Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of AI technologies to design the AI native development approach
  4. Collaboration: Work closely the small dev team and the Product Owner and Architect of the existing product
Skill and Qualifcations:
  1. Technical Proficiency: Strong background in AI/ML technologies and their application within SAP environments and Development Models (ABAP / ABAP Cloud)
  2. Experience: Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects, preferably within an SAP context
  3. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with pragmatism
  4. Communication: Strong communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  2. Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and tools
  3. Understanding of SAP integration technologies and APIs
