Tasks:
Migration of all CSD interfaces from Oracle Java to Amazon Corretto Java with the following detailed requirements due to technical reasons: existing interface needs to continue to work in the new version and its changed interfaces and destinations
Own investigation into the functionality of the interfaces based on documentation that the client provides in advance and by reading and discovering existing codes
Creation of developer documentation so that the client is able to maintain the new interfaces after the project has been closed
Unit & Integration testing:
Creation of adequate test cases based on previously identified requirements (see above)
Execution of created test cases and documentation results
Handling of defects and fix identified issues
Weekly presentation of project progress and results
Presentation of finished developer documentation for a sign off
Correction of identified problems (if found) based on the information coming from the client after the client runs developer tests
Appearing clearly as an external consultant of the client whenever interacting with external parties.
Skills:
Java Development knowledge with Java v6 and v12 (v11 would be good)
Relevant experience with Oracle Java and Amazon Java JDK Corretto
Experience and knowledge around designing and working with interfaces
Capable of understanding logic of existing Java code
