For our client we are looking for a Project Lead (f/m/d) with deep Know-How in IAM and Product Management.
Start: 07.07.2025
Duration: 31.10.2025 (long term engagement (2026))
Capacity: 100% if possible
Location: 75% Remote, 25% Berlin (1 week Berlin / 3 weeks remote in rotation), up to 50% onsite in peak times

Team:
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) product line is responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of essential security capabilities that manage identities and access control across the platform. The goal is to provide a unified, scalable, and secure IAM solution that integrates seamlessly with the technical infrastructure and meets the needs of all platform components.
Key responsibilities of IAM include:
• Authentication services, including Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication
• Authorization, based on fine-grained access policies
• Management of user and service identities
• Integration of systems such as Keycloak and Vault
• Centralized role and permission management across organizational boundaries
IAM acts as a key interface between security architecture, infrastructure, and functional product lines. It ensures that security requirements are embedded consistently and automatically into the delivery process—without compromising usability.
The IAM product line drives the strategic and operational development of its services, ensuring alignment with the overall platform goals, user feedback, and regulatory requirements. This includes ownership of the product vision, roadmap, and feature prioritization, as well as responsibilities such as technical integration, delivery coordination, budget management, and
progress reporting.
Role:
- Structure and Manage the IAM Product Line Organization
- Ensure Strategic and Programmatic Alignment
- Oversee Delivery and Implementation Activities
- Manage Financial and Operational Requirements
- Act as Strategic Interface to Program Leadership
Skills (must-have):
- Experience/certifications in a broad range of project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Waterfall).
- Deep understanding of the product delivery process (product management, product delivery, product operations) with experience in one of the segments in a context to IAM
- Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholders and aligning their interests with the project goals.
- Experience in consulting through organizational change and adapting to new processes and technologies.
- Understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and DevOps practices
- IAM/RBAC principles & technologies
- Secrets & Certificate principles & technologies
- Security principles & technologies, especially in combination with IAM resulting in experience with zero trust principles on identities, services, and resources
- Familiarity with the essentials of CI/CD pipeline management, including build, image registry, automated pipelines, and their associated use cases as well as deployment processes.
- Competence in using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Skills (should-have):
- Proven competence in Organizational Development
- Technical expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Deep functional knowledge of IAM and RBAC in Kubernetes and cloud native development settings
- Ability to set performance metrics, evaluate team performance, and implement improvement plans.
