I am a PhD candidate in economics with a focus on statistics, causal methods, machine learning and data visualisation.
I explicitly investigate the causal effect of different policy reforms using state-of-the-art causal estimators, including factor analyses, machine learning estimations and state-of-the-art multivariate visualizations. Among other things, I analyze the effect of permanent school closures in Germany. To this end, I analyzed administrative data sets from the federal states and coded them into a data set with several million data points. My PhD programme is always accompanied by further training in the latest methodologies, rhetoric and presentation skills and many other soft skills in order to be able to convey results to you in the best possible way.
My services include, for example
- Statistical econometric evaluations of data via Python and Stata, including multivariate correlation measures or machine learning
- Cleaning, consistency checks and visualisation of data
- Database maintenance and evaluations
- Support, creation, testing or evaluation of surveys
I have various certifications, ranging from qualitative and quantitative analyses to soft skills and rhetoric courses. I also have Part 1 of the CCNA IT certification. It is important to me that I can combine data analysis with the basics and understanding of a functioning IT infrastructure.
In the past, I have worked with private economic actors as well as with public institutions and politics.

Among other things, I analyze the effect of permanent school closures in Germany. I am also responsible for overseeing survey and ensuring data consitencies for one of Germanys biggest provider of educational survey data
In the context of various seminars in my statistics focus, I have analyzed and visualized several million data points in the form of data frames and thus, integrated into various economic models, quantified the market power of Alphabet products. The respective analyses were carried out in Stata and R.
I was the first in the firm to independently create a database for the cost-approximation of high-quality injection moulds. For this purpose, I used SQL database queries for historical operating data as well as my own process recordings to quantify the optimal manufacturing costs of the tools and the resulting individual parts via OLS regressions, ARMA estimates and factor analyses. For this purpose I used Python, Stata and Microsoft SQL server.
