The project consists of the programming the PLC software and documentation for a Siemens S7 PLC that
controls the OSC system and interfaces with a Siemens S7 PLC running a test sequence for the metrology
tool at Zeiss.

-Working as a PLC programming and Integration engineer under our automation team, which will be part of
a larger team that is working for our client that is a leader in Integrated Circuits EUV Lithography domain.
-Working in close co-operation with ASML and ZEISS colleagues from various other disciplines (software,
mechatronics, electronics).

My contribution, my achievements and results:
With this project I was able to use Tia portal, Abb robot studio and Cognex programming skills all
together. This project was my introduction to Siemens Tia portal and ABB 6-axis robots. The project
enabled the factory to use robots for alloy wheel machining organisation for the first time and
decreased human resources costs. This system is still used and was copied for future likewise
improvements afterwards by a junior engineer I was able to transfer my knowledge on the subject.

Scope of project:
Project was integration of milling and conveying of a new waste incineration system to the factories
present automation network and SCADA.

This waste incineration system was the first application of such a system in the Aegean zone of
Turkey for cement factories. I was able to program Schneider PLC to communicate with Siemens
VFDs and Siemens Plc via Profibus.
