Projekthistorie

10/2021 - 12/2021
Senior Information Technology Consultant in Marketing Intelligence
Cheil Worldwide (Marketing, PR und Design, 5000-10.000 Mitarbeiter)

Working with the SAMSUNG electronics group of Seoul, South Korea via its marketing analytics subsidiary Cheil Worldwide, I completed a short-term marketing intelligence project involving the measurement of absolute cumulative revenue lift per product type on stores with different treatments. Using regression and Naïve-Bayes time-series analysis, I determined the best predictors of historical revenue then calculated overall ROI per store using the attributable lift. Finally, I enriched marketing intelligence capacity by collecting more than 50 ancillary datasets created from both Google Trends and publicly available German statistics. (Python, R, PowerPoint, Tableau, Excel)

05/2021 - 09/2021
Senior Information Technology Consultant in UX & Product
MediaMarktSaturn GmbH (Konsumgüter und Handel, 5000-10.000 Mitarbeiter)

Working with terabytes of Google Analytics mobile data from their native application in BigQuery, I developed ETL processing
scripts in SQL to mine the nested insights into a functional dataset with hundreds of engineered/coded features. Using Tableau, I then created automatically scheduled reports and dashboards for the UX and consumer application teams. Finally, I supported the famous electronics merchandiser with senior level hiring and mentorship. (Google Analytics, Firebase, BigQuery, SQL, Tableau)

04/2021 - 09/2021
Sports Data Warehouse, Lead Analyst in Software Engineering
Olympics Channel Services (Medien und Verlage, 500-1000 Mitarbeiter)

As the technical lead of the software engineering team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, I managed the largest, oldest, and most
intricately designed sports data warehouse that includes every sport, competition, player/horse, medal, etc. - all broken down to their granular components. The architecture strives to be a unified sports data model with a NoSQL logic able to integrate any new or missing sport into its schema. One of my key tasks was to create Data Tools in Python & Cassandra Query Language to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise the process of turning real-time match results into Olympic digital canon.

CoachHub (Internet und Informationstechnologie, 10-50 Mitarbeiter)

Acting as a Senior Business Intelligence consultant for the e-learning and coaching platform based in Berlin, I developed and
maintained existing SQL queries to improve and extend their LookerML model, whilst iterating with stakeholders in the Customer Success and Finance Departments on their strategic data KPI Reporting needs. I clearly documented the provenance of every visualisation, scheduled its automatic reporting, and collaborated with Graphic Designers to customise via LookerML CSS and HTML their strategic, customer-facing embedded-dashboard product in Looker. (SQL, DataGrip, CSS/HTML, Looker, Github)
