Introduction
Deni Panknin studied business informatics (B.Sc.) in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, and started his career in the Salesforce ecosystem directly after his studies at mindsquare GmbH in 2017.
After just one year at mindsquare GmbH, Mr. Panknin became a team leader and build up and lead a team of seven Salesforce Consultants.
During that time he worked on several Salesforce projects which were mainly enterprise-level projects.
After being the product owner for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a big insurance company, Mr. Panknin became a Salesforce architect working as a freelancer for multiple customers in different role.
In April 2022 Mr. Panknin found the Blue Apes Consulting GmbH, which he manages as a managing partner. The company's goal is to optimize existing system landscapes, reducing data silos and connecting software systems. As a result, data can be used more efficiently and the process lead time can be reduced.

Scope
Within this project, I was supporting the internal Lead2Order team as an external Consultant and Solution Architect in one of Europe's biggest Salesforce orgs
with around 5.000 users through over 20 countries. Within this position, I worked on several projects, like:

Harmonization of accounts
Because the org was existing for some years and there were no governance regardings implementations for countries, basically every country
had its own definition of accounts and the data that should be saved. I was part of the project team doing workshops to align group-wide
definitions for accounts and the master data.
SAP BP integration for accounts
For this project, I was the leading consultant from Salesforce side to set up the Account integration between Salesforce and SAP.
Level Up Sales Campaigns
In my previous projects, I had a lot of success doing Sales based campaigns. Together with a PO and another initiative we drove the topic of
Sales campaigns for multiple use cases (e.g. Cold Calls, Retention Prevention, and Cross-Selling). Based on our idea I designed and
implemented an enhanced Campaign Management functionality which made keeping campaign status up to date really easy for Sales reps.
Within 4 months we did campaigns with 5 different countries based on this functionality.
IoT integration
The customer released an app for their customers that they can always see the current status of its devices. To get a full 360 degrees view of
the customer, the app was connected to Salesforce. I was responsible for the design and implementation of the integration, as well as the
rollout to over 20 countries.
Level Up Segmentation
Within this project, the values for Customer Segmentation were redesigned so that a new data structure was needed. I was responsible for the
migration of old data to the new data structure.

Scope In this project, I am supporting the CRM team of the German market of an international retail company as a CRM architect and Marketing Cloud Consultant. I

Scope During this time I was working as an internal Product Owner for the Marketing Cloud in the digital sales area of one of Germany's biggest insurance

Scope Within this project, I was supporting the internal Lead2Order team as an external developer and consultant in one of Europes biggest Salesforce orgs with

around 5.000 users through over 20 countries. Within this position, I worked on several projects, like:

Phase 1 - Getting rid of technical dept
Because the customer was using Salesforce for 10 years already without any architectural government, the org was about to hit several
Salesforce limits which made it impossible to further develop processes in the system and was already blocking end users in their daily work.
Within this project, we analysed the code base of the org and identified the sections of the code base where we could bring the most value by
refactoring those codes. In addition to that we created a concept for a new CI process and implemented it.
After the identification of the technical dept multiple modules were redesigned and refactored.
Phase 2 - Implementing data stewardship
After the code base was cleaned up, we proceeded by analyzing the existing data and its quality. Based on these analyses we built multiple
tools to measure data quality on the fly and helped the countries take responsibility for their data.
Lightning Rollouts
As the Salesforce organization was existing for 10 years already, most countries were still using Salesforce Classic. Within this project, I
supported in rolling out Salesforce Lightning to around 10 countries by transitioning Visualforce pages to Lightning functionalities (Flows,
Lightning components and pages, etc.) and training users on how they would do their daily work with Lightning.
Salesforce rollout for export sales division
The sales division of this customer was selling to multiple countries but was not using any CRM system. I was the responsible consultant for
the rollout doing requirements engineering, solution design, project management, and rollout.
Implementation of Marketing Cloud
The customer bought the Salesforce Marketing Cloud to harmonize all communication with customers and give countries the chance to do
their own online marketing. I was part of the project team setting up the marketing cloud from scratch by e.g. creating a business unit concept,
concepts for permissions in Marketing Cloud, and concepts to streamline transactional communication to customers. After doing the first IP
Warm Ups, we helped the countries setting up their first campaigns.
Pilot - Implementation of Social Studio
To better understand Social Media channels and reactions to the brands of the customer, I implemented Social Studio as a pilot for the UK to
see what value it can bring.

In this project I was working as the lead consultant for the customer. The customer was one of the big energy companies in Germany with a potential of
