To whom it may concern,
Having advocated DevOps principles, Agile methodologies, ITIL processes and customer obsession to clients utilising diverse tooling, I last worked as Director of Engineering (CoreInfrastructure, SRE and Developer Experience) for TIER Mobility - a global Micro-mobility company based out of Berlin and as a Freelance Platform Engineer IC now.

Originally hired to run a specific part of the landscape I soon became responsible for the cloud infrastructure. In close collaboration with the CTO and the Director of Technology we designed the system to withstand massive growth while being elastic and fully automated. We implemented an Internal Developer Platform and founded a Developer Experience team to remove the cognitive overload of our developer community.

During my time I scaled the core team to 3 individual teams across Europe. After the acquisition of SPIN and Nextbike in 2021, my focus went to implement global operations of TIER Mobility services.

Before TIER Mobility I worked with a variety of clients and different toolings as a Principal Consultant for kreuzwerker GmbH in Berlin. They are a small company (~70 employees in 2 main locations) specialized in Atlassian products, Engineering and Cloud Operations (on AWS mainly). The clients were mostly StartUps from the Berlin area and thus we were working closely on the fore-front of DevOps, Agile, Cloud-Native, Infrastructure-as-Code, you name it.
We helped our clients getting started and running their systems in the best, secure and compliant way possible.
