Location: Ludwigshafen, Germany
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 6 months +
Role and Responsibilities:
Skill/Role: VMWare L2,
Relevant Experience: 3+yrs in VMware
Key Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
- Good documentation skills
- Experience with VMWare 5.5 hypervisor products.
- Should have an excellent customer handling skills
- VMWare Infrastructure Administration and management with vRealize and VxRail knowledge
- Installations for security patches, functional patches and version upgrades
- Performance tuning of ESX server. Document support processes
- Interact with Service desk supervision team for Verification of solutions. Maintain Compliance with Corporate Security Policies.
- Security Policies: Work together with the security team, identify the server venerability issues and resolving them
- Responsible for restoration of data. VMware ESX (from version 2.5 to the latest release)
- Proficient on VMware technologies like: -VMware High-Availability, VMware Vmotion, VMware DRS, Provide 2nd level systems support
- VCP, (Essential), ITIL (Would be added advantage)
