Your Skills
- IT Specialist: Database Administrator Microsoft SQL Server, familiar with ITIL processes
- Experience on MS SQL Server: SQL Management Studio, Query Analyzer, Profil-er, SQL, DTS, addons like SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
- Knowledge about Windows Server, ICP/IP, Active Directory, Monitoring, Job Scheduling
- Scripting: T-SQL, VBS, CMD, VB or C#
- Connectivity: ODBC, OLDB, SQL Native Client
- mindset as service provider with high awareness for quality and responsibility
- good teamplayer and strong customer focus
- developed verbal and written communication skills
- English: required, German & Italian: Welcome
Your Tasks
- design and develop installation procedures to create new and update existing MSSQL installations (server and client components) with a strong focus on automa-tion (Cloud services)
- ensure secured and well performing MSSQL database services for approx. 1600 MSSQL instances. Main elements are: backup/restore, availability, rule compliant implementations. All those features must be well defined and periodically proven.
- Database patching, migrations and upgrades
- Incident, problem and change management related to MSSQL
- support TSA teams to design and price solutions for customer requests
