Application Developer
This is an application developer position supporting configuration of all aspects of COTS (Commercial Off -The Shelf Software) application. This person will perform requirement gathering and analysis, application development for change requests, Scripting, software debugging, source control, application testing preparation of implementation specifications and production application support.
Candidate must possess good understanding of different software development methodologies; both traditional and Agile.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must possess a degree in:
- Computer Science
- Computer/Management Information Systems, or
- Mathematics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience working within software development organizations (2 to 4 years experience)
- Experience in MS Visual Basic (6 and .Net) preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, coding best practices,
- Ability to wrote SQL queries.
- Working knowledge of SQL server or Oracle databases preferred
