Job Description:
We are currently looking for 4 Java Developers, for a large programme of work. As the ideal candidate, you will be a technology enthusiast and self-starter, an experienced and forward-thinking coder who enjoys designing software, has considered opinions about modern software architecture.
Responsibilities:
Your role will be to develop functional Back End micro-services using the specific framework & CQRS pattern using tools like Camunda to describe business processes and integrate with individual micro-services to provide work-management solutions. Backend Developers use technologies such as Java8, JEE, JMS & JPA to help build micro-services and take them to live. Work within an agile delivery team. Work with other developers to ensure good design and development practices are followed. Answer questions from, mentor, and coach less experienced developers as required. Work with the Tech Lead and independently on technical development spikes, including coding ahead of team as needed, to prove out new technologies, products or design patterns.
Other Duties:
Creation and maintenance of enterprise-focused development artefacts and delivery support. Effective communication of technical and non-technical issues. Development skills including but not limited to: The building of the environments to support SDLC. Delivery of tasking within a fast-paced multi-disciplinary agile environment. Effective integration with both internal organisation and other supplier delivery teams. Building a culture of continuous delivery and improvement. Effective user-centred design, personal data, digital transactions, security and privacy. Effective use of digital delivery tools and technologies necessary for the development of Back End and UI code for the platform
