MHC are an award-winning IT and Business Consultancy, specialising in Change Management initiatives, which we deliver working in a collaborative way with our Clients. We are currently working on a wide variety of assignments that include some major Digital Transformation initiatives, Regulatory and Compliance Programmes and Tools adoption projects where we are providing specialist technical and business services to a client base of primarily Tier 1 Banks.
You will have the confidence and the capability to step straight into a specialist consultancy role within one of MHC's Practice areas to provide effective and efficient solutions that support our Clients' business requirements, while working constructively with senior MHC and Client managers and other staff.
Role Purpose/Description
- Global Supplier Performance Review (GPSR) is a subset programme of Available Business Services (Group wide resiliency improvement suite of programs). It's primary objectives are to reduce 3 rd Party Root Caused incidents/outages and MTTR through resiliency enhancements.
- Conduct Technology Resiliency posture reviews of material dependent suppliers utilising HSBC's Group Technology Resiliency Maturity Framework (TRMF).
- Feedback and enable design & capability enhancements to HSBC's Group Technology Resiliency Maturity Framework (TRMF). Design & Build, Monitoring & Alerting and Service Governance.
- Manages & optimizes portfolio of infrastructure to drive operational improvement & cost efficiencies.
- Investigate new infrastructure technologies enhancements to improve resiliency and drive mitigating actions to enable incident reduction.
- Provide technical governance over the Products used in HSBC through the Technical Reference Model (TRM).
- Provide service governance of both existing and new technical non-functional service definitions maintained within an Infrastructure Service Catalogue.
- Delivers infrastructure architecture designs and improvements to be approved by the Solutions Architecture Board (SAB).
- Keep up to date with business strategies & road maps; technology roadmaps and feeding wider business IT requirements into infrastructure engineering and strategy teams.
- Use of knowledge of the existing client business, applications and infrastructure to pro-actively make recommendations where it can be seen that improvements can be made.
- Determine business requirement and influence solution towards Infrastructure future state model.
- Gauge strategic impact to business function, impacted upstream and downstream services and subsequent technology footprint.
- Ensure end to end completeness of technical design, including Non-Functional Requirements both realized and validated.
