Application Developer/Architect
Malta - ONSITE only
6-month contract
€420 per day

My client is looking for a Fluent English-speaking .NET & SharePoint Developer to join their ongoing project in Malta.
This is an opportunity to work for an exciting and dynamic company working on a long-term major project in an international, multilingual environment where you can add a real presence to the team whilst the role offers a fantastic package.
Day-to-day tasks:
- To work as a Software Application Architect/Developer in a web application project.
- Review of the architecture of existing systems.
- Analyse business processes, and user requirements to establish better user experience solutions.
- Build business processes to support business applications.
- Participate in design sessions with project staff as required.
- Analysis, design and development of software and web applications and features in a scalable way.
- Participate/Lead the architecture and design of on-prem, cloud, and hybrid information systems.
- To analyse new ways of improving User Experience within this application.
- Design application systems either through new development of systems, enhancement of existing systems, or 3rd party products.
- Implementation of user requirements.
- Development and integration of technological components.
- Plan and implement API integrations with third parties.
- Participate in team reviews of design artefacts and code, make changes as required, and recommend alternative solutions where appropriate.
- Elaboration of test programs.
- Work with technical and functional teams to ensure effective delivery of systems.
- Assistance in the planning, deployment, configuration, evaluation and reporting of applications.
- Participation in meetings with the project teams and end users.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant education (bachelor or equivalent) after secondary school.
- At least 9 years of professional working experience
- Using Microsoft technologies such as (but not limited to):
- MVC, ASP.NET, VUE, React, C#.
- Strong experience in Vue, React, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5 & CSS.
- Graphic design experience.
- Experience working with Visual Studio 2015 or higher.
- Experience in creating and consuming Web API.
- Knowledge of package management systems ie nuget, npm and yaml.
- Experience in HTML5.
- Knowledge of CSS frameworks and pre-processors: bootstrap. Materialize CSS, Semantic UI, SASS.
- Knowledge of ES6 and Javascript modularity.
- Knowledge of Material design.
- Knowledge of UI design patterns.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Development/Installation.
- Experience with Azure.
- Ability to work both independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent use of English language (verbal & written).
- Experience in carrying out high-level management and market studies
- Capability to provide recommendations on improving the structure and efficiency of an organisations IT systems.
- Ability to provide strategic guidance with regard to technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT
