Data Migration Consultant

Currently recruiting for a Data Migration Consultant, working for a leading IT Services company you will be responsible for leading the data migration from the Legacy system to the new Cloud system. This is a large scale migration and you will need to work closely with the various business units and technical teams in order to successfully migrate the data.
We are looking for someone who has lead a large scale data migration in the areas of HR data, Project & Contractor Accounting (P&CA) data and CPM/Project data. You will be responsible for liaising with business units, mock loads, rehearsals and cutover of data
Responsibilities:
- Liaise between SAP technical consultants and Business SME's to ensure requirements are met
- Mock loads, rehearsals, cutover of data and data migration
- Detail GAP between SAP and Process
- Investigate GAP solution and make recommendations
- Work with SI on Gap solution
- Drive continuous improvement of process definition
- Serve as key team member for implementation project representing application development in the CPM/P&CA/HR area
- Milestone and project task reporting for to the appropriate team lead/project manager
- Ensure that wherever possible, the adoption of a best practice approach and minimal gaps
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience leading large scale data migration, particularly in the areas of CPM, HR, P&CA.
- Has participated in at least one large information transformation engagement in the CPM or Project Systems area
- Able to work closely with the technical teams and have an understanding of programming
- Ability to present and gain sponsorship of appropriate area within the implementation team
- Ability to work with and collaborate with all Teams and Individuals in the Business Teams and the technical Teams toward developing a best practice processes, quality and efficiencies
